Terms of Use
Effective date: October 26, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of DivChange.ca (the "Site"), published by Eric Williams, an individual in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada ("we", "us"). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. General information only
Everything on the Site, including dividend histories, raise and cut alerts, streak rankings, the ex-dividend calendar, analyst consensus figures and any newsletter, is general information for educational purposes. It is not investment, financial, legal, accounting or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. Nothing on the Site is tailored to your personal circumstances. Please read our Disclaimer.
2. Not a registered adviser
We are not registered with any securities regulator in Canada or elsewhere (including the Alberta Securities Commission) as an adviser, dealer or in any other capacity.
3. Data accuracy
Data is gathered automatically from third-party public sources, currently Yahoo Finance via the open-source yfinance tool. It may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and changes are detected by automated methods that can make mistakes. Always check company announcements and filings on SEDAR+ before acting.
4. Analyst ratings
Analyst ratings and price targets shown are third-party consensus figures reported by the data source. They are not our opinions and not endorsements.
5. Acceptable use
You may view and share the Site for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not disrupt the Site, scrape it in a way that overloads it, or present its content as your own.
6. Positions in securities
The publisher may own, buy or sell securities mentioned on the Site at any time.
7. Sponsored and affiliate content
The Site has no sponsors or active affiliate links today. If we add sponsored content or affiliate links in the future, they will be clearly labelled.
8. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.
9. No warranties
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site, including any investment or trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions.
